Biography

Kimie Fujioka is a dancer, singer, and actress born and raised on O'ahu, Hawaii. She is deeply passionate about telling new and unconventional stories through her art. She is currently in her final semester at the University of Northern Colorado where she is majoring in Musical Theatre with minors in Dance and Entrepreneurship along with the Arts Entrepreneurship Certificate.

 

With over 15 years of experience as a performer, Kimie has honed her skills and developed a unique style that blends traditional Hawaiian and Japanese culture with modern influences. She has performed in numerous productions throughout Hawaii and the mainland, and her work has been recognized with several awards, including a Po'okela Award for Best Actress in a Musical at age 16. Kimie is also a strong advocate for the AAPI community and uses her platform to raise awareness about important issues.
